8.2 Analytics

We use PostHog (PostHog Inc., USA) to understand how our website, apps, and tools are used and to improve the Service. PostHog collects page views and product usage events (such as which features are used and whether operations succeed or fail) in your browser, in our iOS app, and on our servers. No persistent analytics cookies are set: for visitors who are not signed in, events are associated with a randomly generated identifier held in your browser's session storage, which is deleted when you close the browser tab. If you sign in, analytics events are linked to your account (for example, your account email or an internal account identifier) so we can understand usage across sessions and devices, provide support, and improve the Service. Analytics data may be processed in the United States, with appropriate safeguards in place for international transfers. You can limit this collection using browser tracking-prevention features or content blockers, though some measurements will then be unavailable to us. We do not sell analytics data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising. On some pages we also use PostHog session replay, which records how the page is used during a visit (interactions and on-page activity; text you type into input fields is masked by default) to help us diagnose problems and improve usability.
