Digital Millennium Copyright Act Notice and Takedown Procedure
Respect for Intellectual Property
Remeshy respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA and are properly submitted to our designated copyright agent.
User Responsibility
Users of Remeshy are solely responsible for the content they generate, upload, and publish on the platform. By using our services, users agree that they will not create, upload, or distribute content that infringes upon the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of any third party. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Copyrighted characters, logos, or brand assets
- Trademarked designs or product likenesses
- Reproductions of patented or proprietary 3D designs
- Content derived from copyrighted source material without authorization
Important
Submitting a false or misleading DMCA takedown notice may result in liability for damages, including costs and attorney's fees, under Section 512(f) of the DMCA. Please ensure that you have a good faith belief that the content is infringing before submitting a notice.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content hosted on Remeshy infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to our designated DMCA agent containing the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work: Describe the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notification, provide a representative list.
- Identification of the infringing material: Identify the material on Remeshy that you claim is infringing and provide sufficient information for us to locate it (such as the URL of the model page).
- Your contact information: Provide your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Good faith statement: Include the following statement: "I have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material described above is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
- Accuracy statement: Include the following statement: "The information in this notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
- Signature: Include your physical or electronic signature.

What Happens After a Notice
Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice, Remeshy will:
- Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content
- Notify the user who published the content that it has been removed
- Provide the user with information about how to submit a counter-notification if they believe the content was removed in error
Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our DMCA agent containing:
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original takedown notice
- Your physical or electronic signature
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, Remeshy will forward it to the original complainant. If the original complainant does not file a court action within 10-14 business days, we may restore the removed content.
Repeat Infringers
Remeshy will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. A repeat infringer is a user who has been notified of infringing activity more than twice and has not resolved the claims.
Modifications
Remeshy reserves the right to modify this DMCA Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
